Our Services

In a nutshell

Our services can be broken down into 3 key areas: Our Crisis Service, Our Community Support Services, and Our Wellbeing Club. Each service runs very differently, and are suitable for varying times throughout your journey of recovery & maintaining wellbeing.

The Crisis service

The crisis service is designed to support people who are experiencing mental/emotional distress. We use social interventions to support people to break down the things that are causing them stress, and begin to move forward in manageable steps.

Community Support

Community support packages are offered to adults & young people with a care or support need, who either have an enduring mental illness, or are in recovery from a serious episode of mental ill-health.

Community packages are designed to aid people through their recovery, and include our rehabilitation & enablement programmes.

The Wellbeing Club

The Wellbeing Club is network of people with a key goal in sight - improving their overall wellbeing!
The club offers a range of wellbeing focused workshops, therapeutic activities, self care sessions, events and outings that are all designed around the 5 ways to wellbeing.

The Crisis service

Nobody is invincible when it comes to mental ill-health, just like nobody is invincible to physical  ill-health!
When life knocks us down, we sometimes need a helping hand to get us back on our feet.
The crisis service is broken down into 3 stages:

Stage 1:

1-1 support from a wellbeing worker. Our staff are trained in ASIST (Suicide intervention) and Connect 5 (A brief intervention toolkit, incorporating cognitive behavioural therapy, solution focused therapy, and the 5 ways to wellbeing. Staff implement these tools during an initial meeting. You will create an action plan with your wellbeing worker, which will help you to begin tackling your stressors, and move forward towards better wellbeing. You may have a number of follow up sessions to support your journey, until we feel you are ready to step down into stage 2.

Stage 2:

Peer support within the group environment. We run support groups 7 days a week, with a different topic each night. Our general lounge is open each evening. It's a safe place where you can grab a coffee, talk it out, or get involved with therapeutic activities to help relieve the strain.

Stage 3:

Great! Your through the storm - Maybe you even feel strong enough to hold the umbrella for somebody else? Stage 3 is an optional peer mentor programme, where you can train to help others who are struggling through their own dark times. Peer mentors facilitate a number of our activities, and are an invaluable resource to the charity, and the people who use the group environment. Learn skills, develop your confidence, and do something amazing all at the same time!

Community Support

Personalised care & support without having to leave your home.

Child & Adolescent Services

We can support children & adolescents age 8+ through a community support package.

The teams can support a return home from hospital, or work at early intervention stages.

Every child and family are different, therefore the support we can offer you will differ. We can work independently with the child, or offer a more robust whole family approach.

Adults

Adult support packages are person centred programmes that support enablement & promote independence. Support is designed with you, and tailored to meet your needs.

We use social interventions, with a non-clinical approach - moving at your own pace, in the comforts of your home and community.

We support you to achieve and maintain wellbeing, by doing more of what's important to you, as well as what is important for your health.

What to expect

Our programme is designed with you around your interests and needs. We will spend time with you exploring what activities you enjoy and creating a plan aimed at helping you to feel empowered and enable you to enjoy life in a manageable way.
After creating a wellbeing plan, our trained team will guide and support each individual to gain new skills and explore new or established interests. We can assist with the development of practical skills, organisational skills or ways to develop interpersonal skills. Or simply have fun!
All of our groups are small so each person has the support they require while benefiting from being in a social setting. There are no expectations and no pressures, and we work in a person-centred way at a pace that you are comfortable with.
